This is v0.4 of the Beneficial Ownership Data Standard. It includes updates to the data model, codelists, and technical guidance.
Future changes are anticipated before a version 1.0 release. See the Changelog and About pages for more information.
BODS data encapsulates information about the beneficial ownership of corporate vehicles, to facilitate sharing of information. The data model is based on key concepts relating to this information and its management.
The BODS schema, defined using JSON Schema 2020-12, describes the data model. The Schema browser shows how the schema’s objects and properties fit together. The Schema reference includes an A-Z of objects, detailing their properties and related codelists.
